Civitas Agency approached this project with the need for a thoughtful evolution of an established court seal—one that had served its purpose for years but required a modernized system to meet today’s standards of clarity, scalability, and digital accessibility across a wide range of media.

The primary challenge was to enhance the seal’s performance without compromising recognition. It was essential that the updated design remain immediately familiar to its audience while introducing a clear and intentional improvement in craft and usability.
